The location

Our tango location in Bavaria shows its most modern side. The AURELIUM, which was designed by Regensburg architect Manfred Blasch, provides the opportunity for this. Four years of planning and two and a half years of construction resulted in the opening on April 15, 2016.

As with the dance itself, tradition meets modernity in the selected tango location in Bavaria. The building has a traditional monolithic basic shape, reminiscent of a former barn.

The small windows and the large entrance portal are intended to reflect the local history of Lappersdorf. The building is encased in copper sheeting. This gives the AURELIUM a matte golden sheen and invites visitors to tango on the parquet floor even from a distance. The architecture focuses on experience, atmosphere, representation, memorability and perceptibility.

Shuttle service to the AURELIUM with the free RVV ticket

Hotels: at all stops on bus routes 13 and N1

The shuttle service to the AURELIUM in Lappersdorf is provided by the RVV bus lines 13 and N1. Hotels near Regensburg train station offer a convenient connection. Bus route 13 runs every 30 minutes and takes 20 minutes to the "Kapelle" stop in Lappersdorf, from where it is only a three-minute walk to the AURELIUM. The N1 line takes 30 minutes and the last connection leaves at 1:30 a.m. at weekends. Please note the current timetables. The RVV ticket is valid for the entire route and in the entire city area if changes are necessary.

Dinner Break - Important Information!

Our own catering team at the Aurelium in Lappersdorf offers first-class cuisine and a great range of drinks.

Alcoholic drinks can be purchased cheaply on site. During the milongas, NocheDePasion provides every guest with free coffee and tea. A limited amount of water (sparkling/still) is also available free of charge. Juices, juice spritzers, lemonades and cola can be purchased at a reasonable price.

The Aurelium and Lappersdorf sponsor 80 % of the drink price. Many thanks to the managing director Klaus Wenk of the Aurelium.

Our team always makes sure that the wishes of our guests are fulfilled. We attach great importance to the highest quality.

During the milongas, we offer a small selection of snacks such as nuts, cheese sticks, fresh fruit and cakes to satisfy the small appetite in between.

During the milonga break in the evening (Friday and Saturday only!), we invite our guests to linger in the AURELIUM for a while and enjoy a bite to eat from the extensive buffet. The terrace in front of the AURELIUM offers you the opportunity to enjoy the evening sun with a glass of wine and simply put your feet up and relax.

After the event, our guests are welcome to dine in the nearby restaurants to further satisfy their appetite. We recommend taking a look at Tripadvisor to find a variety of options to suit all tastes. Should you need assistance with this, we will be happy to help you find alternative options.
