DJ Bomboncito

Bénédicte, also known as DJ Bomboncito, has been playing tango music since 2015. She got to know tango 25 years ago, at the end of the last millennium, and immediately fell in love with it! She learned to dance through regular lessons and many workshops in Europe with well-known maestros. During her stay in Buenos Aires, she focused on the classic milongas where she was lucky enough to be invited by legendary dancers such as El Pibe Sarandi, Tete, Flaco Dany and others. As a milonga lover, she has organized several milonga workshops in Brussels with Ricardo Maceiras and Dany Garcia.

She has now been traveling to events all over Europe for 10 years. Together with Jens-Ingo Brodesser, she has been organizing the international tango event 'la Cita de los Amigos' in Belgium for 8 years. She loves music and has developed 'Tango Time Travel' with him, which offers high-quality digital transfers of restored original shellac and early vinyl records. The basis of this project is her extensive collection, which covers the repertoire from the entire history of tango. Away from tango life, she is a television director and mother of a fantastic little girl.

Wolfgang Weuste

Wolfgang has a preference for the traditional music of the 30s and 40s and is now a welcome guest and DJ of the best Encuentros in Europe. Wolfgang has been dancing since 2006 with great enthusiasm, passion and musicality. He started DJing because he wanted to dive deeper into the music of tango. His energetic music in the milongas is already known in many places.

Gianni Panichi

Since 2005 Gianni Panichi creates waves in his sets that touch all sides, the emotional and physical needs of dancers, alternating rhythm and melody. His music is 100 % danceable and traditional at all times. Gianni creates tandas with attention to detail, alternating between rhythm and melody, between the known and the unknown.

He gives the dancers curiosity and desire to move and give free rein to their emotions. In Italy he is a very popular DJ who plays at many big events and is a welcome guest.

Alan Spotti

Alan Spotti is a passionate DJ who explores the world of tango with a lot of experience and passion. For many years he has contributed to numerous events with his music, taking care of the needs of his listeners and dancers. His goal is to create a unique listening experience every time, and so he takes the time to study each song for its sensitivity and complexity.

His work has made him a versatile and sought-after DJ, always ready to take his audience on a new musical journey.

Irina Zoueva

Irina Zoueva is a South England and London based tanguera, DJ and founder of the tango teaching and event company "Tango Secrets". Because of her music, Irina is invited as a guest DJ to Milongas in the UK and to Encuentros worldwide.

Her music selection includes traditional tangos of the Golden Age, as well as songs from the 20's, 50's, 60's and even 21st century pieces. Their ulterior motive in music selection is to control energy, rhythm and atmosphere on the dance floor from tanda to tanda.

Her joy can always be seen when the empty chairs turn into a full dance floor even before her DJ set begins - so she knows that her goal as a DJ has been achieved.

Ricardo Peixoto

Ricardo Peixoto started as a tango DJ in 2005. He had injured himself and could no longer dance. Playing music offered him a different kind of connection - one he loved - and he was determined to experience it. Since then, he has DJed at various events, including with orchestras. He has been invited to play in many venues in the UK and Europe. His style is described as dynamic, energetic and danceable.

His goal is to inspire the dancers, to facilitate a beautiful ronda and to maintain a smile of all the guests until the end of the tanda. Each tanda is a chapter and each milonga is a whole story, always different.

Gaby Guthmann

Gaby Guthmann has always been involved with tango. Her passion was ignited in 1996 and since then there has been no stopping her. Since 2000 she has been organizing her own weekly milonga. She is a regular guest at festivals and encuentos. Her DJ sets inspire with a rich selection of energetic to romantic tandas, which always correspond to 100% of the traditional music styles of tango.

Gaby has an eye for what's happening on the slopes and adapts her songs accordingly. With her desire to dance with everyone, she will continue to enrich many events in the future.

Michele Sottocasa

Michael is from Venice and has more than twenty years of experience as a DJ. He has shaped the scene in Veneto for decades and is widely known in northern Italy and Lombardy as a welcome and popular DJ. With the 100% traditional milonga "Picaflor" in Venice, he is the pioneer of the milonguero scene in Northern Italy.

He is also the organizer of the Encuentro series "Rendez-Vous Milonguero" in Bologna and Venice. Michaele plays music of the 30s and 40s and puts special emphasis on social dancing, that is, everyone with everyone and curiosity for new things.

Erich Kaliwoda

Eirch Kallowoda, an avid tango dancer, was initially less fascinated by the music, but during his first stay in Buenos Aires, that changed. There he began collecting traditional tangos, which really ignited his passion for this art form.

His first attempts as a DJ were at local milongas, and for the past few years he has also been DJing at Encuentros. This passionate dancer's orchestra of choice is Juan D'Arienzo, whose energy and virtuosity inspire him equally as a DJ and dancer.

The greatest happiness for him is to see happy people on the dance floor.

Fresedo Gabbo

Fresedo Gabbo, alias Gabriele Capocelli, was born in the 90s. He had already as a child bright joy in playing guitar and making music. Today dancing and DJaying is an integral part of his life.

The tango fascinated him from the beginning. His first performance was in Lecce and he then gained experience in the milongas of Triveneto. Today Fresedo lives in France with his family. He prefers music from the 30s and 40s, but also plays pieces from the 20s to 50s.

He is always attentive to the dancers on the floor and can often be seen dancing alone behind the mixer. His girlfriend jokingly says about him, "He follows the tango more than my voice!".

Jessica Carleson

After a long stay in Buenos Aires, Jessica Carleson started DJing. She was inspired by the music in large and small milongas of Sweden.

After two years of intense DJing experience in Stockholm, she traveled to Nijmegen, Holland for her first international set in 2017. Since then she has DJed at maratons in Denmark, Iceland and Germany.

Christian Beyreuther

Christian has been involved with tango for many years and organized milongas and events with orchestras in Regensburg (Bavaria) for many years. A few years ago he founded a traditional milonga Sorriso Milonguero with friends near Udine/Italy. He draws further inspiration from his experiences in Germany, France, Belgium, Austria, Italy and Poland as a DJ in various Encuentros, Marathons and Milongas. His musical style is purely traditional.

He looks forward to more exciting encounters to maintain and develop his passion for tango.

Taskin Deniz

Taskin Deniz is a passionate DJ who specializes in tango music. He loves to entertain his audience by playing a wide selection of tango pieces from the 1920s to the 1950s. He especially prefers the classic tangos from the golden age of tango, which exude a unique sense of nostalgia and nostalgia. His repertoire includes a variety of genres, orchestras and moods to ensure a smooth flow on the dance floor.

He hopes that both professionals and beginners will feel at home in tango and that his fans will be relaxed and happy while dancing to his music. He loves to take his audience on a special journey through space and time.

Sascha Weinberger

Sascha Weinberger has been dancing tango since 2000 and putting on traditional tango music since 2005. His passion belongs to the music of the Epoca de Oro (1935-1945). He plays a unique repertoire of rhythm and romance, never neglecting the drama and tension of the music.

His goal is to influence the energy on the pista and to see the dancers happy and relaxed at the end of the milonga. Sascha Weinberger DJs in his own milonga in Darmstadt and also in milongas in the region, as well as nationally and internationally.

He loves to combine new and old tangos to keep the energy on the dance floor sustainable. With his unique style and ability to feel the atmosphere of each dance, he sets new standards and inspires the dancers present.

Manuela Villa

Manuela Villa is a Berliner who lives in Freiburg im Breisgau. Since 2006 she has been persistently involved with Tango Argentino and has been DJing for some time. She prefers a dynamic, joyful music, which is a mixture of powerful instrumental pieces from 1928 to 1958. With this special music she makes everyone present dance even in the greatest heat.

Manuela's goal is to convey the passion and power of Tango Argentino through her unique mix of music, which she hopes will inspire dancers of all ages and experience.

Max Marzano

Max Marzano is a traditional tango DJ and collector of original 78-rpm recordings. His style is based especially on D'Arienzo-Shellacs from 1936-1939. His passion for traditional tango is reflected in his musicality and his desire to transmit the spirit of the "Milongas Porteñas".

As a DJ, he regularly plays in some of the most important milongas in Rome, as well as tango festivals and marathons throughout Italy, Europe and the world. From 2014 to 2015 Max organized the 'Milonga Academy' in Rome, where he was the local DJ.

Elvira Russo (Elektra)

Elvira Russo is a tango DJane who decided to follow her passion in 2017. Since then she has been making her dreams come true at events around the world and has had the chance to collaborate with artists such as Juan D'Arienzo, Quinteto Derecho Viejo, Sans Souci, Junta Escondida, Sanluistango and Lo Que Vendra.

Her dedication and the musical diversity of tango, together with her love of music, make for magical moments on the dance floor. Her path as a tango DJ is constantly growing and she bubbles with energy, which she passes on to the guests.

She always has a sure feeling when it comes to finding suitable music for any occasion and situation. In 2021 she hoped to arrange at the World Tango Festival in Buenos Aires, which unfortunately had to be postponed due to the corona pandemic. Elvira Russo lives her passion and always passes it on individually to the guests.

Rosita Lagos Diaz

Rosita Lagos Diaz grew up in Santiago, Chile, in a musical family, and she began dancing tango at the age of 14. She has developed a flair for using the energy on the dance floor to offer dancers a variety of rhythms and emotions from the golden era of dance.

For years she has presented her program at milongas, marathons and encuentros in cities such as Lille, Paris, Barcelona and Turin. She was also one of the organizers of the monthly milonga La Coqueta in Lyon, France, where she currently lives.

Tomaž Leskovšek

Tomaž Leskovšek is a DJ who specializes in tangos from the golden age. He spent a lot of time studying the world of music, which eventually led him to start as a tango DJ. He took pride in conveying the beauty of tango through the gentle embrace and smooth movements of the dancers.

He often created joyful milongas combined with carefully selected cortinas, creating many moments of deep emotion.

François Romay

Born in Valencia and living in Nîmes, the French-Spanish artist loves to "tell a story."

His milongas are characterized by a poetic and subtle energy. His generous nature is an invitation to share. A traditional DJ, he prefers tangos from the 30s to the 60s. His style is elegant and refined, with balanced and creative tandas that include music from forgotten orchestras.

Balázs Gyenis

Balázs Gyenis especially loves Argentine tango music and collects, reads and listens to everything about this genre. He prefers the rhythmic and emotionally charged music from the Golden Age, but as a DJ he plays a balanced repertoire, paying attention to dynamic variations and consistency within the tandas. Balázs has played more than 140 sets at large, multi-day, international events (e.g. Marathon / Encuentro / Festival) and over 300 sets at other milongas around the world.

He is also the creator of the most popular online tango radio, Argentine Tango Radio, the most viewed tango flash mob on YouTube, the most downloaded internet archive tango podcast series, Danceable Tangos of the Year, and the world's first live virtual video milonga, as well as the first Hungarian milonga recorded exclusively on vinyl. During the last seven years he has organized the weekly milonga Jueves in Budapest (together with Endre Szeghalmi and Konrad Krynski), and after his return from London now the weekly milonga De Mis Amores in Budapest (together with Kati Freesz and Robi Kovacs).

Jens-Ingo Brodesser

Fashions come and go! During a DJ set Jens-Ingo Brodesser tries to capture the mood of the moment by observing the dancers and transfer this feedback into the tanda.

Variety and changing impulses are the key words. Jens-Ingo likes to think of colors and shapes like when you paint a picture. You start at a certain point and let it develop. Maybe you tell a story, maybe you're abstract, but the most important thing is that through the music Jens-Ingo plays, something is expressed and people are made to dance!

Igoris Saburov

Igoris is a tango DJ who specializes in music from the Golden Era. He is known for his ability to openly respond to the interests of his audience. Igoris Has presented his art in various countries in Europe, including Belarus (Minsk), Belgium (Bruges, Mouscron, Antwerp), Estonia (Tallinn), France (Paris), Germany (Kehl, Veckenstedt), Italy (Bolzano, Noci, Merano, Reggio Emilia, Turin, Milan, Treviso), Latvia (Riga, Jurmala, Jumurda), Lithuania (Vilnius, Kaunas, Panevezys, Nida, Palanga, Klaipeda), Poland (Warsaw, Torun, Olsztyn), Portugal (Lisbon), Russia (Pskov, Moscow), Spain (Nerja) and Ukraine (Kyiv).

His remarkable ability to adapt musically to his audience has made him as one of the best tango DJs in Europe.

Tango DJ Prinz

Greg Demerville

Greg Demerville is an amazing multi-talented performer and one of the most famous DJ of the tango scene. He has managed to create a unique atmosphere that dancers around the world have hastily conquered. His music is a mixture of different cultures and traditional styles, full of energy and passion. His warm smile and his ability to feel the energy of the dancers and carry them away are unique.

Greg Demerville is a true master of tango and is celebrated for it. He has performed at many European Encuentros and Marathons, including Warm Embrace, Cita, Metz, New Year's Eve Party-El corte,Cologne, Bendito, World Congress, Tango sauce, Nantes, Bal Tout Terrain and Totally in Tango. His performance is great and quite unique and, for that, we crown him "Tango Master of the Moment".

Theo Chatzipetros

Theo plays traditional music from the late twenties to the late fifties; the emphasis is on the forties.
His goal is to create a rhythmic wavelength that suits the dancers. In doing so, he adapts the chosen music to the mood of the dancers accordingly.

He is a member of the "Association Tangofirenze" based in Impruneta, furthermore he is co-founder of the "Raduno milonguero of Impruneta", where he has also been resident DJ between 2007 and 2014. He has had countless performances at milongas, encuentros, festivals and marathons in Austria, Italy, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey and the UK. In addition, he organizes musicality and DJ workshops.

Paola NociTango

Paola, is an avid tango dancer, lived and worked in Argentina. She is passionate about music and especially about tango music. To further deepen her musical knowledge, she soon became appreciated as a DJ. When she plays, she often creates the right atmosphere in the milongas, and waits them sensitively to the needs and tastes of the dancers.

She has been DJ at various events such as "La Promotora" in Lisbon (Portugal), "Milyonguero 2" in Lyon (France), "Juntos" in Saint-Colombe (France), "Tutto in un abbraccio" in Cagliari (Italy), "Dans tes bras" in Paris (France), "Ecuentro Milonguero Kehl" in Kehl (Germany), "La Parada" in Padua (Italy), "El Tangone" in Lyon (France), "Mirame" in Grau du Roi (France), "Retiro Milonguero" in Faro (Portugal), "Abrazos de Corazones" in Moosburg (Austria), "Encuentro de Brujas" in Bruges (Belgium), "Spoleto Milonguera" in Spoleto (Italy), "Te quiero Lisboa" in Lisbon (Portugal), "La Sabauda" in Turin (Italy) and "Encuentro Porteño" in Amsterdam (Netherlands).

Ivica Anteski

Ivica has been a regular DJ and organizer of milongas in Skopje for 10 years. He believes that playing music is like dancing, when you shake your leg on the dance floor with all the other dancers at the same time. His musical sense comes from communicating with those who dance. He follows the guidelines of the milongas in Buenos Aires as much as possible, but also keeps to the traditional rules, seeking balance between rhythm and melody.

He also organizes milongas in Skopje and the International Encuentro Poema in Ohrid, gives classes at the Tango Milonguero Skopje dance school, and organizes regular workshops throughout the country. He is the founder of Tango Mentor. He has worked as a DJ in Italy, Germany, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria and Greece.

David Reus

David Reus started playing vinyl records at the age of 18 and started his own dance club, Disco-Pub Latino in 1989. He had a radio show that featured the latest disco singles on a weekly basis. With more than 20 years of experience in compiling and remastering tangos, waltzes and milongas, he guaranteed a careful and selected music.

For over 15 years he has been providing background music for milongas, meetings and tango festivals in Spain, and in 2008 he opened the milonga "La Pasional" in Benidorm. As a milonguero, he is an experienced connoisseur of orchestras and their styles. Due to his professional DJ career, he has performed at many prestigious milongas of national and international scene.

Philippe Nguyen

Philippe, who lives in the south of France, has always been a music lover and dancer. He turned to tango for its sensuality and delicacy of music. After a trip to Buenos Aires in 2007, which he enjoyed very much, his passion for tango became even stronger. For 16 years he has been a tango DJ at milongas, encuentros, festivals and marathons all over Europe (France, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Spain and Switzerland).

His musical style is a subtle blend of dynamics and romance of music from the Golden Age of Tango.

Filippo Giacomelli

Filippo Giacomelli is an Italian tango DJ from Rovigo and currently lives in Verona. He developed his love for music at an early age. In his career he enchants both national and international events with his music. He is known for his incredible music mixes that allow him to combine different styles of tango.

Filippo has a feel for the unique magic of tango and brings it wherever he plays. He manages in a distinctive way to make the audience dance through his music. Thanks to his talent, authenticity and creativity, he has managed to make a name for himself as one of the leading tango DJs in the world.
